Learn how to make a traditional GRANNY SQUARE.  You learn techniques such as how to make a slip knot, a magic circle, single crochet and double crochet.  Change your yarn colours or keep it simple with monochrome styling. It's the best creative outlet!

Small class sizes (max 6 people) for the ideal learning environment. 

Youth participants are welcome with accompanying adult.

MATERIALS (suggested)

Supplies are not included, and participants may use any size hook or yarn. But we suggest the following supplies for new crocheters:

• US E 4/3.5 mm or US F 5/4.0mm crochet hook
• Worsted weight yarn (#4).  You will need 150 grams of yarn or ~220 yards (cotton preferred, not fluffy or variegated for easier learning) in total; you can decide on the number of different colours. Great for using up scraps!
